Chemistry graduate student placed second at statewide symposium

Kendra J. Adams, a chemistry PhD. Candidate in Dr. Francisco Fernandez-Lima’s laboratory placed second for her poster entitled: Localization, Identification and Quantification of Biomarkers During Cell Development at the Florida Statewide Graduate Student Research Symposium hosted at the University of Florida on April 22nd. Kendra’s research involves the investigation of biological compounds using various analytical tools, such as mass spectrometry and ion mobility spectrometry. Kendra plans to graduate in 2017 and work in a public research facility upon earning her PhD.
