Anthony J. McGoron was inducted into the College of Fellows of the AIMBE

Congratulations to Dr. Anthony J. McGoron, Professor, Department of Biomedical Engineering, who was inducted into the College of Fellows of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) on March 16, 2015, for translational research in drug delivery and molecular imaging, and leadership in campus and community service and national professional organizations. AIMBE fellows represent the top two percent of medical and biological engineers in the field. The newly inducted fellows were elected through a rigorous process with extensive peer review, followed by a vote of current fellows. This year’s induction took place at the AIMBE Annual Event, March 15th, at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C.
